Sniff, Sniff, Ahem and Pride
I never get sick. Granted, I’ll get a bit of a belly ache from eating too much (who knew a family-size bag of mini Reece’s Peanut Butter Cups could make you feel ill?), but I rarely get viruses or infections. I’ve not thrown up in nearly a decade and I’ve gone years before without even catching a cold (my last cold was in 2003).
So, it figures that this morning – the day before we go on vacation to Provincetown – I can sense the early stages of a possible cold. My nose was runny when I woke up and I have an itchy/tingly feeling in my throat. I overdosed on vitamins this morning in hopes of preventing it from getting worse. I plan on getting one of those Fresh Samantha 100% natural all-fruit drinks with echinacea and Vitamin C at lunch, and I plan on having a positive attitude. Wish me luck.
Tomorrow, before heading to Cape Cod, Matt and I are going to attend the Pride Parade in Boston (after weeks of prodding, he finally agreed to go…where did his pride go?). In fact, Matt’s brother was visiting last night and seemed intrigued by the idea and accepted our invitation to join us. This should be fun – I like taking breeders to Pride.
Anyway, I’ll hopefully take lots of pictures of the 1/2 naked men and women and post them in my Photo Gallery next week (along with pictures from Provincetown).
Oh, and for those of you concerned, I didn’t kill Dusty last night. In fact, when we got home from the vet (after being hyper all day, getting 4 shots and then riding on the train) she was quite mellow…until she puked in large quantities. Does anybody want her? I’m taking offers, starting at $10.00. Ten-dollars going once….twice….
