Au Naturel at Crane Beach
No, I didn’t remove my swimsuit. But according to Dictionary.com, one of the definitions of au naturel is “in the natural state.” Yesterday, I took half of a personal day to take advantage of what could be the last sunny and warm day of the year. Randy was able to get the afternoon off so we hopped in the car and drove to Ipswich (after picking up some yummy sandwiches in Beverly).
And what a great decision that was! The tide was low most of the time, and with the autumn sun descending earlier, we got some spectacular photos. So here I’m posting WAY more than I should:

Oh, and so my blog can show at least a little bit of flesh (it is Half-Naked Thursday, after all) here’s a photo of Randy!

I don’t think you posted more than you should–I think you posted a good selection–at least one of them is going to wind up in a little picture file I keep titled “Striking Photos.” and, no, it isn;t the one of Randy. Although . . .
Hey, Will! Thanks for the comment. Which photo made it into your “striking photos” folder?
And yeah, Randy is rather cute, huh?
I think Crane’s is one of the most beautiful beaches I’ve ever seen. It’s spectacular in the winter, windswept, like a moon-scape. I won’t ask if you went in the dunes….
What beautiful shots! And a great pic of Randy. My first time here.
🙂
Wow, spectacular. Oh, the beach is kinda cool as well. ;-p
First I know Bobby….now I know Randy…..its such a SMALL gay world….
My, isn’t Randy fetching!!
Counting down from the top, #10, possibly, and #15 definitely. Actually, I just realized that I can crop the sky out of #5 and have that incredible interplay of sand and water. Can you tell I’m into texture? I keep files of all sorts of things as reference for paintings and set designs. #15 is marvelous.
Oh, and what Sara said. 🙂
Well shucks, thanks boys and girls for the kind comments.
Shame it may be the last day for the beach this year. It was fun taking the pics. Like Will I am totally into the texture pics. I bore my friends constantly with these types of sand shots.
Mr Karl, thanks for the kind posting and nice pic 🙂
