I Owe Him a Lot

Randy…the poor guy.

He’s taken me to Japan. He’s taken me to Mexico. Literally (he used his own frequent flyer miles to get me to those places). He’s also cooked me countless meals, allowed me to stay at his place probably half the nights this past winter, invited me to parties being held by his friends, bought me little surprise gifts here and there, complimented me, helped me with computer problems, listened to my problems (and my rumored incessent whining), driven me places, loaned me his car, and just all around treated me well.

What have I done in return? Well, I suppose I’ve done some listening when he’s had issues with work and such. But last night he stayed at my place for the first time in at least two months (and possibly only the second time since December).

And what did I do?

I got all wrapped up in a photo project I’m working on (emptying out photo albums, sorting the photos in chronological order and then planning to scan them all). I did cook him dinner (a lame meal compared to the things he’s prepared). But other than that the evening consisted of me sifting over photos and us watching bits and pieces of American Idol.

He did agree that he and I are both very like-minded in that once we get something on our minds, we can get it off our minds (remember my comments about San Francisco last week?). So, that made me feel a bit better.

Still, things seem pretty uneven in this here relationship – and I’m ashamed to say I’m to blame. Hopefully I’ve done more for him than cook a meal and listen. Hopefully I’ve been supportive, fun, generous and honest.

Hopefully he is as happy as I’ve been.

…and hopefully he doesn’t read this!

BAD, BAD BOYFRIEND!!! I hope you keep him entertained in other ways. That should make up for it, no?

Hey Im not complaining.. well at least not yet! He He. It was fine to come over and hang out looking at some of the old photos was cool. Watching you sort was not so cool. But hey I get caught up doing things to that Im sure Karl has no cares about. (I scanned and am still sorting the pics out on my computer even today for 1000s of photos over a year ago).
As for Dinner it was simple and easy and I am all about that these days and hey Karl even cleaned dishes. Im not complaining just so everyone knows. As for taking him places… it wasnt all about him. I did enjoy having company (his company) on these trips too. Yes I have the Frequent Flier miles so use em I say. I will get my entertainment out of him when he stops whining about it … he he!

Karl, you better be some kind of fantastic in bed.

I don’t want to know the details, mind you, I’m just saying.

And Randy should write a book on How To Be A Boyfriend, because he would make a killing.

As long as you’re both happy – I’m happy. But seriously Karl. Seriously. LOL.
