A Time to Celebrate
True, the country is falling apart around us as religious zealots destroy the country (and the world). But as I’m sitting here at my desk, it dawned on me that my new salary (pay raise) starts today! Granted, it’s only 4.2%…but that beats nothing.
And it’s also July first, but the current temperature outside is only 62 degrees! I LOVE IT (I prefer cooler temps).
And it’s a three day holiday weekend and the weather is supposed to be perfect: bright and sunny, with no humdity.
Finally, I’m heading to New York City for the weekend to meet up with friends!
Life is good.
