Severed Lines to the World

Here’s a perfect example of how scatter-brained I have been the past few weeks (with everything going on: moving, two classes, a computer project, a finanial planning test, finding a home for Dusty, working, breaking up).

I arranged for Matt to have his cable (computer and tv) installed on the afternoon in which he moved (Thursday). Well, I completely forgot and thought it was Friday so we left his new apartment to go grab lunch. Well, it figures that we returned to have the concierge inform us that cable stopped by (twice) while we were out. When we called back, the said they couldn’t make it back out until NEXT Friday. So, for the past 6 days I’ve been without TV or internet access from home. Consequently, I had no clue that it was going to snow yesterday. I knew nothing of the Al Queda attacks on the US Consulate Saudi Arabia. And I won’t be able to watch The Biggest Loser tonight, or America’s Next Top Model tomorrow night.

Life can be so cruel.

Sit down. Take it easy. Its the most wonderful time of the year!

Have a drink. Mix with one or more of the following: Valium/Percocet/Zoloft/Buspar/Celexa/Luvox etc etc.

Lay in bed and place sleep mask over eyes, place warm down comforter over self and take a nap!

You should be refreshed in a few hours! *cp

A perfect week for reading books then, I guess! 😀
