Beautiful! (and baby hawks!)

That is what the weather has been – simply beautiful!  There is absolutely nothing like spring in New England!  The flowers are blooming, the trees are budding and… oh, yeah!  The baby hawks are here: http://web.mit.edu/webcast/hawkcam/hawkcam.ram

Okay, you MIT folk, I shared the link with the “outside” world a little sooner than we might have wanted but you need to understand – I figure with the all of 6 or so “followers” of this site (half of them MIT!), the link certainly will not be overwhelmed.

Ahhh…. baby hawks – a definite (and welcome) sign of spring!

Another year with Mom and Dad not letting us down!

So, did I call it, or what?  Please see “ick, bleh, grrr” post from 3/21/06.

This weekend was just the perfect spring weekend in New England – sunny, blue skies, nice mild temperatures, etc.  Well, mom and dad landed at Logan yesterday and…. yup, you guessed it:

Tonight: A slight chance of rain showers before 10pm, then a chance of snow showers.

Wednesday: A chance of snow showers before 10am.

And that’s Boston.  I feel really bad for the folks up North:

Winter’s not over yet
Forecasters are calling for up to a foot of snow in the far north and
three to six inches through the White Mountains, Lakes Region and
western New Hampshire.
