- Warren: What do Berkman Fellows do anyway?
- RM: Whatever we want, using it as a place to get things started
- DW: teaching and research is what he’s doing
- SR: What other Berkman fellows can we lure to meetings? Ethan Zuckerman?
- SR: Josh Ain and he have a 45-minute presentation is that too long? We can shorten it to make it more appropriate.

- RM: Tell us about Frassle
- SR: Gave his Frassle spiel, demonstrated Frassle’s nifty threaded comments
- JD2: the duplicate posts from an original blog post showing up elsewhere on the blog as a threaded comment is something weird
- RF said some very insulting things about Shimon
- SR: can I make something to do automatic programming for me?
- DW: Double byte?
- SR: No, but easy to switch will do it perhaps with next upgrade
- Pito Salas is supposedly working on something similar to Frassle
- DW: ThreadsML helps with threading
- SR: understanding how threading and whatnot works will make it more usable
- DW: group blogs: how can I pull only my blog entries into the publisher?
- SR: can do it if you use a particular identifying feature, like a category or byline, that comes through in the feed
- RM: video and audio blogging
- SR: torn on things like that: would be nice, but it’s not unique
- RM: it’s necessary because lots of different people want to do it
- Scott Johnson is engaged. “Congratulations, Scott!” said just about everyone in the room when j announced the news.
