- Dan Gillmor on Monday (2/13) – “We the Media: The Rise of Grassroots, Open-Source Journalism, and the Coming Era of the Citizen Activist,” 7 pm, Kennedy School of Government, Malkin Penthouse, 4th floor Littauer Building (which is different from Littauer Center)

- Cory Doctorow on Wednesday (2/15) – “Set Top Cop: Hollywood’s Secret War on Your Living Room,” Wednesday, Feb. 15, 6 pm, 105 Emerson Hall, Harvard College

- Andy Carvin, bandwidth waster, international traveler, blogger, sharer of fabulous tails and tales, who does really important things, has a new book coming out. When it’s available for distribution, he’ll tell us about it.
- Dan Bricklin, known for his work on VisiCalc and wikiCalc
- A superstar blogging librarian who’s giving a talk in the area
- Ookles, perhaps — if their Boston road show works with a Thursday meeting
- Someone who can fill us in on what’s happening with China and the Internet

- j: Cory Doctorow talked about a project of Warcraft players working on Chinese servers as a way to possible relieve some of the filtering in China.
