Obscure Icelandic music was piped into the delivery suite where Gwyneth Paltrow gave birth to baby Apple Blythe Alison Martin on Saturday.

The Sun says Sigur Ros are the favourite band of Paltrow’s husband – Coldplay’s Chris Martin. The oddball four-piece group sing in a made-up language called Hopelandish. They share their name with the singer’s sister – it means “victory rose”.
