Plagarism Rampant in Schools – Among Officials

As any classroom teacher today knows, plagarism is a problem at all levels.
Proper attribution of material is increasingly complex and increasingly
ignored by students as the Internet exponetially multiples the material
available and the difficulty in tracking it.

Now an in-depth article in the Boston Globe claims that a review
of newsletters and notes to parents in school districts across the country
suggests that superintendents and principals regularly put their signatures
under ”borrowed” phrases, ideas, or anecdotes. (full disclosure: 87%
of the above sentence was "borrowed" from the article).
