These Weekends Are Getting Exhausting
Spent most of the day in a state of emotional exhaustion. It wasn’t productive, in fact, I was practically catatonic—but I think I really, really needed it. Just sitting, not doing anything. for a few hours, with nobody else there, after a weekend of almost constant emotional fever-pitch intensity… It didn’t feel like procrastination, or lack of motivation—just recuperation. I think I’m coming out of it now, and will be genuinely ready to come back by tomorrow.
Eventually, as the afternoon progressed, I was able to get back into a groove. Found another (!) flagrant error on my shape-explicit plot, another triangular-elongate form (not a real thing, so clearly a typo of sorts). Isolated the problem as Opephora, having been mistakenly coded as an X1=4 (triangular) when in fact it is an X1=3 (ovate). Goodness knows how many of the entries in the matrix are similarly in error. There is absolutely no way to find out, short of redoing the whole coding exercise, preferably by another investigator. Ha!
In any case, I got to a fairly advanced stage of the turning-into-functions task.

Well categorized, sir. Definitely NOT procrastination, most definitely recuperation! Hope you’re feeling better by Tuesday and ready for action. B
