Persistently Perky
posted in The Kitchen Sink |I’ve been exhausted and stressed out about work lately, more so than usual. I was told recently though that “if this is you when you’re ‘miserable,’ I’m not sure I’d be able to stand how perky you’d be when you’re actually happy.”
Funny, I’ve never really thought of myself as perky per se. I think I’m much too cynical and my sense of humor has too much of a bite to be “perky,” but, whatever, I’m going to take it as a compliment anyways. =)
