I have been struggling with this thing forever! And victory is mine! hahaha! For my second astounding trick, I am going to attempt to put a picture on here. This is a very dangerous stunt so I will need full concentration…

haha! thats a trick worth learning! take a lesson by it! Now that I have accomplished every thing I came to accomplish I will leave you to gaze at my magician/computer skills. (can you see the sarcasme dripping of this post?)
Putting up pictures with WordPress is a snap! Actually, it’s really only a drag and drop. Here’s an illustrated guide to adding photos to your posts.
1. If you haven’t already, find the Login link near the bottom in the right column listed under Meta.
2. Sign in using your username and password.
3. Click on Write; you will be automatically directed to Write Post.
4. Scroll down if necessary to find the Upload box below the Post box. By default it’s empty. You’re going to change that. Click the Browse button.
5. Find the photo you’d like to add to your post and double-click it.
6. Now fill in the other information like Title and Description as you see fit.
7. When you are ready, click Upload.
8. Now a thumbnail of your file shows up under the Browse tab automatically.
9. Click it once and drag your photo and drop it your post.
10. Finish writing your post and hit Publish to print it to the main page.
There you go. Happy posting!
On my home from work yesterday evening, I got stuck in a one hour traffic jam where all cars on the highway didn’t move, they were parked and the ignitions turned off! I saw a big black plume of smoke up ahead so I knew something bad had happened. I dialed *1 (smart traffic) on my cellphone and the message stated that a truck had run over a car. I hope no one got hurt; I didn’t see any ambulances go by. After 30 minutes of sitting around, I moved my car to the side of the road and walked up to the emergency site (about 1/2 mile). For being inconvenienced, the other people seemed to be in very good moods. People were chatting with their impomptu neighbors, some were sitting on their cars. Kids were sitting on the roofs of their cars. I saw lots of cute little doggies and one great big german shepard that barked at me. TV traffic helicopters circled above and lots of people were waving at them just in case they were in the limelight. Just as I was approaching the crash site, the highway patrol opened up the leftmost lane for traffic. I hightailed it back to my car and got back on the highway. In any case, it definitely broke up the monotony of driving home.
Since I couldn’t decide just how I want this thing to look, I’m putting it to you. Everyone who has received an email with a username and password has been granted full administrator privileges. That means any of you can change the appearance of the entire website. To do this, log in using the Site Admin link in the lower left corner in the Meta category. Log in. Click Presentation. Then choose whichever theme you like best.
While you’re at it, log in and this time click Users. Go there and change your display name, email, and password to whatever you like.
Can’t wait to hear from you. Get writing!
I’ve tried this once before, but now that the Law School installed some new, fancy-shmancy blog servers, it’s time to try this again. I realize that many of you lead busy and important lives and don’t have a lot of time to sit down at the computer. All I’m expecting is three or four sentences about something notable in your lives once in a while. Truth be told, this is really just another venue for me to write more personal things about my life in a public forum—the more gratuitous, selfish posts that only my family would want to read anyway.
So go to it guys! I want to know how Jordan and Angie feel about married life; how Spencer and Evan’s tile company is going; what grade Nelson is in; about Jenny and Tom’s new house; in which commodities Grandma and Grandpa are investing; what Janice thinks about working at DisneyWorld; what to look for new in ceramic technology from Charley; how Joey is sabotaging Merry’s National History Day project; and everything else from everyone else, of course!
And send me the emails of other family members I don’t know or somehow forgot.
