What if the Held a Games, And Nobody Came?

Sure
has seemed like we have seen a load of empty seats at almost all of the
venues featured so far on the Olympic coverage being quarterbacked, in
this country, by NBC. Its like they spent so much money and energy to
get the damn thing off on time that now everybody in the contry is exhausted
and broke.

Plus, after having spent 8 BILLION dollars, the organizers
have priced the individual event tickets so high none of the so-called
"normal" people can afford them. Still, it looks bad. Solution?
Let EVERYBODY in…..

ATHENS (AFP) – IOC (news – web sites) officials, worried by the television
images being flashed around the world of athletes competing in near
empty stadiums, have told the Athens Games organisers to give tickets
away for free if necessary.
