Leaders in the world

Tuesday, March 27th, 2007

To be a leader for tomorrow, one has to be led today. One person needs to follow, or at least to see, what the leaders are doing now. In my case, I am learning what others are doing today, such as how to communicate with different people, how to present themselves, and et cetera. In other words, I am learning how to be a leader from today’s leaders by listening to them, talking to them, and getting ideas from them.

In addition, the leadership is nothing but a way of life. In easy sense, for example, it is just like wearing a tie; it is absolutely a personal choice. You do as what the leaders do. You act as what you want to be in the future.

All in all, among all leaders I have met in the world today several common traits have been shining here:

Passion is one of the most common and important characteristics. Goal-driven is another.

…to be continued.

Cool people are always around campus.

This week is the Green Week at HBS, and hopefully it will bring the awareness to everyone locally and beyond.
