Rounds next week:  June 26, 2003-Dr. Andreas Kurtz, Assistant Professor of Surgery, Harvard Medical School, Genetic and Nongenetic Modifiers of Neurofibromatosis Type I

The Academy Award requires manuscript submission by June 30, 2003.  Residents are invited to submit for this year’s awards.

Dr. Joseph Neimat will present Neurosurgery Grand Rounds in the Etherdome on June 19th.   Dr. Neimat is interested in functional neurosurgery and will present the results of a laboratory effort working with Dr. Emad Eskandar. 

• Dr. Edward Smith, Attending Neurosurgeon, Massachusetts General Hospital will be leaving to begin a fellowship in Pediatric Neurosurgeon at Children’s Hospital, Boston.  He will present a grand rounds at 7:30 a.m. on Thursday, June 12
• Combined Harvard Neurosurgery Grand Rounds will be held on Saturday June 7th, in the “Ether Dome”
• The New England Neurosurgical Society meeting will be held on Friday June 6th.
