Setting Sail for Mexico: Vacation Photos
September 8th, 2008
Farewell Long Beach: The Queen Mary, from the gangplank.
Some pictures from our family cruise in late August.
Carnival of the Animals. Our room staff was first rate and prepared for us a different towel animal each night of the voyage. Besides a dog, we had a monkey, a walrus, a python, a cat, and another animal that might have been a swan, might have been a turtle. We took many pictures of the sunset from our balcony.
“Los Arcos.” The landmark arches for which Cabo is famous. Also famous for tall baskets of fruit confiscated from absent-minded tourists taking cruises. Cabo was the third destination on our trip. The cape is a hot spot for partying and water recreation including parasailing, jet-skiing, and scuba-diving. We spent our one day in Cabo snorkeling and drinking margaritas in the sun aboard El PezGato.
Lovers Beach. A small island with lots of nooks for nookie.
Parasailer in Cabo San Lucas
Conga in Front. Carnival (our ship, the Pride) behind. My parents getting into the spirit after a day of snorkeling.
A willing volunteer for a fashion shoot.

WOW, Excellent vacation and great pictures. I was wondering if you have been into other cruise ships companies and how carnival compares to them?

You take your friends and family on a Carnival fun ship. If you want something more romantic or with less kids, Princess or Norwegian Cruises is the way to go. The dining experience on a Princess ship is exquisite.
