STRIKE!!! Nstar: Havard PSLM is there.
Nstar, Mass Ave, Dorchester – Members of UWUA Local 369 walk the picket line.
Alerted by mailing lists of the Harvard Social Forum and the Progressive Student Labor Movement, students and workers from Harvard joined members of the Utility Workers Union of America Local 369 on the picket lines at local NStar installations. Students mostly went to the nearest installation in Somerville. Many Harvard workers, however, cannot afford to live near campus since the end of rent control. Most live in communities like Jamaica Plain and Dorchester:

The two largest issues are:
1. Compromised safety due to understaffing.
2. Attack on pension benefits.
The union members have community support.

I support Nstar 110% they deserve more than they are getting. You see all we hear is hero in firefighters, and all other big company’s but the Nstar are more than hero’s there job is more dangerous, more risky, more tiring, and more stressfulness, i hope they get what they want and deserve good for them all i hope they keep on going and going. All of them are more than hero they r the one that keep the city of Boston going. And I’m glad the Managers and Supervisor are doing the big man work let them feel what these man feel when going down the whole, and see if they can do the job those up tight butt Managers. Think they know it all. Well Randy i can keep on going but i got to go back to work you keep up the good work. And God Bless.

I support Nstar 110% they deserve more than they are getting.
