August 7, 2003 — Prosecutors say she’s been married 26 times,
but Dezerrie Cortes has apparently lost count.
"
I did 10 fake marriages in the 1980s," Cortes told investigators shortly
after she was arrested July 8. "I also married many times in the
1990s."
Prosecutors say Cortes was actually going for hubby No. 27 when she
was busted.
Oh, my gawd Michael! That’s my wife!!!
