Online Cases….

The AANS Online Case Studies now feature a publication date so the most frequently posted cases can be quickly located. In addition, a new text editor simplifies formatting of new case submissions. After you’ve logged into www.MyAANS.org, follow any of the links below to review these new cases:
1. A thrombosed cerebral aneurysm – describes the unique radiographic presentation of a partially thrombosed cerebral aneurysm with embedded video showing the operative approach.
2. Is it a disc or a meningioma? What would you do in this case? The authors discuss their operative approach. 3. DBS for scoliosis? Here the authors show a unique strategy for extreme scoliotic deformity in a patient with Parkinson’s disease.
Please feel free to submit one of your cases. Just follow the instructions to submit a case from your own practice that has taught you something. See the video introductions to the case index here.
