Ralph is going to run, as a real alternative to Kerry and Bush in the protest vote category.
This is good… because Ralph will be able to use the election to bring a focus on the real issues of who is running our government (far beyond the issue of who can best beat Bush, and can Bush win again). Hard core Democrats do not need to be that worried that Ralph will hurt their chances, as it is unlikely he will receive the same number of votes he got in 2000 as the Green Party Candidate. And I doubt he will get hardly any democratic votes in Florida and New Hampshire. And Republicans should be somewhat worried that Ralph will help increase voter turnout that will not vote for Bush.
Of course if Edwards is the democrat that goes against Bush, then we will have an interesting election beyond the protest.
