Nearly a dozen Punjab police officers assaulted reporter Satender Chauhan at the PCA Stadium on October 28.
Chauhan was covering a cricket match at the stadium when he saw a crowd of angry people who had allegedly bought tickets for the match but were not allowed to enter the stadium. According to these fans, Punjab police on duty were letting in people without tickets by taking Rs 500 from each of them. When Chauhan and his crew had finished recording these events, about a dozen Punjab police officers, led by an Assistant Sub-Inspector, attached Chauhan. He was later taken to the Civil Hospital in Mohali.
