Info session: Spend a semester in Brazil
Since their founding, both FGV Direito SP in São Paulo and FGV Direito Rio in Rio de Janeiro have played an important role in the transformation of corporate law and legal studies in Brazil and in serving as interlocutors in judicial reform and policy-making. Professor Bottino is a full-time professor at FGV Direito Rio, where he is also the director of the Undergraduate Course of Law. ILS staff and an HLS student who has recently studied in Brazil will also be on hand to answer your questions.
Information Session: Study Abroad
The Semester Abroad program is a wonderful opportunity to immerse yourself in a foreign legal culture and to receive a semester of ungraded credit towards the Harvard J.D. degree for study at a law school overseas. 2L and 3L students can apply to study at one of our exchange partner schools, or for an independent semester abroad at another accredited law school.
The HLS-University of Cambridge Joint Degree program is an incredible opportunity to spend a year at one of the world’s oldest and most distinguished universities. Students who successfully complete program requirements earn a Harvard J.D. and a Cambridge LL.M. in a total of three-and-a-half years.
