“Claudia Peus remains skeptical, though. Twenty-nine years old, in Boston for a year, and with a doctorate in psychology, she has been doing research at MIT and Harvard on the leadership style of managers in various countries and on women’s career paths in Germany and America. “It’s been a dream,” she says, but the dream cannot go on forever. The grant that allowed her to go to the US fourteen days after receiving her doctorate at the University of Munich expires in May next year – and even before then she will have to answer what is for her the one big question: Will she go back to Germany?”

Ins Leere gelobt (aber selbstverständlich kann dieser Artikel überhaupt nicht für die Technische Universität München gelten) – 3
„Doch Claudia Peus bleibt skeptisch. Seit bald einem Jahr ist die 29-Jährige nun in Boston; am MIT und der Harvard Universität untersucht die promovierte Psychologin die Führungsstile von Managern in verschiedenen Nationen und die Karrierewege von Frauen in der deutschen und in der amerikanischen Wirtschaft. “Ein Traum”, sagt Claudia Peus. Doch dieser Traum ist endlich. Das Stipendium, mit dem sie 14 Tage nach ihrer Promotion an der Münchner Maximilians-Universität in die USA ging, läuft im Mai aus – spätestens dann muss sie die eine, die große Frage für sich beantwortet haben: Back to Germany?“
