Interview on the Street – Mother: “What I know is that in a secondary school in Detmold, for example, they say that young people have been recruited.”
Interview on the Street – Grandmother: “We have a granddaughter who’s six years old, and frankly I’m afraid for her.”
Interview on the Street – Father: “In the pedestrian zone in the town of Lemgo three weeks ago, the neo-Nazi HDJ, the ‘German Youth, Loyal to the Homeland,’ was distributing glossy brochures and flyers; they were deliberately targeting children, young people, and families.”
These videos were shot with a hidden camera – the HDJ wouldn’t give us any interviews. The pictures show an apparently harmless campsite, but this is in reality a neo-Nazi training camp. The children are vacationing in the “Fuehrer’s Bunker.” You can see the new recruits giving the straight-arm Nazi salute; their indoctrination films are filled with nostalgia for the German Reich.

Die Technische Universität München* – Nazi-Schulungen für Kinder: Bundesregierung schaut tatenlos zu – 3
O-Ton – Mutter: „Ich weiß, dass es in der Realschule, zum Beispiel in Detmold, geschehen ist, dass Jugendliche angeworben werden sollten.“
O-Ton – Mutter: „Wir haben eine Enkeltochter, die ist 6 Jahre, da hab ich einfach Angst davor.“
O-Ton – Vater: „In Lemgo hat die Heimattreue Deutsche Jugend vor drei Wochen in der Fußgängerzone Hochglanzprospekte und Flyer verteilt und ist dabei ganz gezielt auf Kinder und Jugendliche und Familien zugegangen.“
Heimliche Aufnahmen der Heimattreuen Deutschen Jugend – Interviews gibt der Verein uns nicht. Ein Zeltlager, scheinbar harmlos. Doch es ist eine rechtsradikale Ausbildungsstätte. Kinder machen Ferien im „Führerbunker“. Der Nachwuchs zeigt den Hitlergruß. Und im Werbefilm reichsdeutsche Nostalgie.
