The OECD Report: Is German Education Losing Its Touch – Even at the Technical University of Munich? – 1
“In comparison with the ratings of the education systems in thirty of the other most important industrialized nations, Germany has again slipped. According to the latest OECD report on education, recently made public in Berlin, Germany is producing too few young people qualified to enter university and too few university graduates, especially in relation to the growing worldwide demand for such people. Moreover, there is too little continuing education in Germany for those already employed.”

„Das deutsche Bildungssystem fällt im internationalen Vergleich der 30 wichtigsten Industrienationen weiter zurück. Angesichts der weltweit wachsenden Anforderungen auf dem Arbeitsmarkt bilde Deutschland nach wie vor zu wenig Akademiker und Abiturienten aus, heißt es in dem neuen OECD-Bildungsbericht, der am Dienstag in Berlin vorgestellt wurde. Auch würden in Deutschland viel zu wenig Beschäftigte regelmäßig weitergebildet.”
