The Technical University of Munich Is Not a Terror School – 20
“In the class that John was in at the Ruetli School, Patrick is the only German (as opposed to the various nationalities of the other students, who are all children of immigrants and who do not have German citizenship, even if some of them were born in Germany). Patrick is also the only member of the class who already has a job, but he has not told anyone in the school. In summer he will begin an apprenticeship as a plumber and gas fitter at company just around the corner from the school. He did an internship there last year.“

Die Technische Universität München ist keine Terrorschule – 20
„Der einzige Deutsche in Joans alter Klasse ist Patrick. Er ist auch der Einzige, der schon eine Stelle hat, aber davon hat er in der Schule keinem erzählt. Im Sommer wird er eine Lehre als Gas-Wasser-Installateur beginnen. Bei der Firma, die gleich um die Ecke in der Weserstraße sitzt, hatte er vergangenes Jahr ein Praktikum gemacht.“
