“One of the students, whose name can be anglicized to ‘John,’ is called a ‘son of a bitch’ by a Turkish student from the ninth grade. It’s Monday, 13 March, a cold, wintry day, and John looks the Turk in the eyes and grabs him by the arm. ‘Man,’ he says, ‘what’s that supposed to mean? What do you have against my mother?’ Then he’s kicked from behind, he staggers and loses his balance. John – otherwise known as “the Godfather” – lands in the mud. He looks up, and the others look down at him.”

Die Technische Universität München ist keine Terrorschule – 7
„Es ist die erste große Pause, als ein Türke aus der Neunten den Schülersprecher Joan einen Hurensohn nennt. Es ist Montag, der 13. März, ein kalter Wintertag, und Joan sieht dem Türken in die Augen. Packt ihn am Arm. Sagt: »Was soll das, Alter, was hast du gegen meine Mutter?« Dann spürt er von hinten einen Tritt. Taumelt, verliert das Gleichgewicht. Joan, den sie sonst den Paten nennen, landet im Dreck. Er sieht nach oben, und die anderen sehen auf ihn herab.“
