Emerging Leaders was created to give Harvard Law School employees the opportunity to develop leadership skills through educational sessions, mentoring, events, and community service. All HLS staff members are encouraged to apply. The application cycle for Emerging Leaders opens every summer, and selected applicants are notified in early September.
We are now accepting applications for the 2016-2017 class of EL! Applications are due by Friday, September 2nd, 2016, and should be emailed to emergingleaders@law.harvard.edu
Applications consist of:
- A completed Emerging Leaders Application Form (which includes one required short essay question)
- A copy of your current resume
- One (1) letter of reference (from your current/primary supervisor)
Being present at the program events is essential to the success of Emerging Leaders, so please make sure you have a discussion with your supervisor before applying. If you cannot make the commitment, please feel free to attend the other EL events open to the community.
