Yahoo! Unlimited Raises Portable Subscription Prices
When Yahoo! Unlimited debuted in May, its competitors were immediately skeptical that the service could maintain its rock bottom prices. Nevertheless, when Yahoo! Unlimited formally launched two months ago, the prices stayed the same.
According to Digital Music News, the honeymoon’s over — Yahoo will begin charging five dollars extra for
portable subscriptions, just like Rhapsody and Napster 2.0. That
means 10 bucks per month if you’re an annual subscriber, or 12 if
paying month-to-month.
