Prof. Ozdaglar will provide an overview of recent research on belief and opinion dynamics in social networks and discuss how outside intervention may influence opinions and decisions in groups. She will focus on mathematical models of dynamics of social interactions over networks and highlight the impact of the underlying structural properties.
