Pedi

 


I recently returned from 5 days in Florida visiting family and friends. The mornings were cool but it warmed up by afternoon. There was wind, water, sand and sun.


My sister Rebecca visited. She is an amateur manicurist and she brought her kit. One evening — either because we had seen so many bare feet in Florida (and so few in Massachusetts) or because we were just in a mood to paint — we asked Rebecca to do our toenails.



 


The under-6 set tortuously deliberated over colors, finally settling on a pattern of alternating hues in stunning contrast:

Inspired by its vibrancy, the manicurist and her sister went one step further and did the ‘sampler look’:
