Here’s

night on the Fiedler Footbridge while biking home.
Boston, IMHO, has the classiest and best Fourth of July celebration in
the country. We don’t do the schmaltz that DC specializes in, and we have a real sense of history here. (We are the home of the Patriots and the Revolution, after all!). Well, maybe the Boston Pops are a little schmaltzy, and sure it’s a bit odd that the traditional fireworks music features the French and Russian national anthems, but hey… that’s tradition.
