In spite of our efforts to advise students about<br \/>\nthe serious consequences that can result from illegal distribution of<br \/>\ncopyrighted materials there is clear evidence that this is a growing<br \/>\nphenomenon that is not going away.<\/p>\n<p>As a result, the university is announcing a change in the policy<br \/>\ngoverning DMCA (Digital Millennium Copyright Act) complaints.
