It got me thinking about our local community, that being Victoria and Vancouver. I have always been a supporter of community platforms and open source, but I\u2019d like to see that go further into the real world.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>Mark&#8217;s post prompted me to leave a comment, since I&#8217;ve been mulling something over along these lines for a while now.  Click through to the entry to read &#8212; turns out this is also an interest of <a href=\"http:\/\/bmannconsulting.com\/\">Boris Mann<\/a>&#8216;s, and he&#8217;s going to be at <a href=\"http:\/\/barcamp.org\/DemoCampVictoria\">DemoCampVictoria<\/a> tomorrow evening.  Sounds like there&#8217;s a conversation brewing!<\/p>\n<p>Now I really feel compelled to write the blasted &#8220;concept overview&#8221; at last &#8212; although the elevator pitch still eludes me.
