It occurs to me that I should visit their site more often.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.betterbadnews.com\/\">BBN<\/a>&#8216;s latest skit has a sharply barbed stab at copyright law and the lengths to which established (read: corporate) interests will go to defend it.  Their idea is, if it&#8217;s going to be possible to sue the makers of file-sharing software that&#8217;s used to pirate entertainment, then perhaps it will also be possible to sue the makers of firearms.  As BBN suggest, download-software is file-sharing software, and a gun is bullet-sharing hardware.  So why not make the manufacturers responsible if that bullet-sharing device is used in a criminal act?  Hey, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.riaa.com\/default.asp\">RIAA<\/a>, makes sense, don&#8217;t it?
