{"id":631,"date":"2004-10-13T21:18:48","date_gmt":"2004-10-14T01:18:48","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/blogs.law.harvard.edu\/yulelog\/2004\/10\/13\/better-late-than-not-at-all\/"},"modified":"2007-02-16T00:34:04","modified_gmt":"2007-02-16T04:34:04","slug":"better-late-than-not-at-all","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/archive.blogs.harvard.edu\/yulelog\/2004\/10\/13\/better-late-than-not-at-all\/","title":{"rendered":"Better late than not at all"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><a name=\"a1495\"><\/a>  It&#8217;s taking me longer to get around the blog neighbourhood these days, and so I missed <a href=\"http:\/\/www.thealders.net\/blogs\/2004\/10\/03\/the-worlds-on-fire\/\">Doug<\/a>&#8216;s terrific pointer to Sarah McLachlan&#8217;s <a href=\"http:\/\/www.worldonfire.ca\/\">World on Fire<\/a> video earlier this month.    <a href=\"http:\/\/www.canoe.ca\/JamMusicSarahMcLachlan\/home.html\">McLachlan<\/a> and friends spent one tenth [correction: one tenthousandth] of a typical high-end music-biz budget to make this video, and gave the other nine-tenths (in a poetic reversal of tithing) to charities [correction: nearly nine ten-thousandths].  You can see how much was donated to what organisation <a href=\"http:\/\/www.worldonfire.ca\/donations.html\">here<\/a>.
