(The <a href=\"http:\/\/www.spiritoftomorrow.com\/index.html\">Spirit of Tomorrow<\/a> website notes that Johnny Norton and Barney&#8217;s brother Brian were co-builders.) I saw the car today at the home of Barney Oldfield&#8217;s relatives &#8211; and also learned about the house he built: a rotating house, with a central shaft that carries the utilities (in &#8230;and out). Apparently, the house still turns, provided the grass underneath is mowed.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\">.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\"><a href=\"http:\/\/www.flickr.com\/photos\/metrocascade\/sets\/72157625022148528\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"http:\/\/lh4.ggpht.com\/_Rg-tSGYurlI\/TJrSM6cWyRI\/AAAAAAAABVk\/RpUrtsh8rBI\/s640\/CIMG0902.JPG\" alt=\"\" width=\"448\" height=\"336\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\">.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left\">Sitting in a driveway in Saanich just outside of Victoria, there it was, the Spirit of Tomorrow, fresh as anything.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left\">Without a doubt the most amazing (and amazingly weird looking) automobile I&#8217;ve ever seen.
