For some unfathomable reason, there&#8217;s a display of <a href=\"http:\/\/www.snowbirds.dnd.ca\/index_e.asp\" target=\"new\">the Snowbirds<\/a> just over my roof and somewhat to the south &#8212; Jesus!, here they come again, it seems about 100 metres over my head!  <\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/cyber.law.harvard.edu\/blogs\/static\/yulelog\/snowbirds.jpg\" height=\"480\" width=\"640\" border=\"0\" alt=\"\"><\/p>\n<p>They are so loud!  All that&#8217;s missing is the rat-a-tat-a-tat and a huge ka-plooie!  For some reason, I love fireworks, which are basically exploded armaments made aesthetic.  But I can&#8217;t get into this, it&#8217;s scaring the heck out of me.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/cyber.law.harvard.edu\/blogs\/static\/yulelog\/pilot.jpg\" height=\"600\" width=\"800\" border=\"0\" alt=\"\"><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.mediamatic.net\/cwolk\/view\/13655\" target=\"new\">Paul<\/a> <a href=\"http:\/\/www.wired.com\/wired\/archive\/4.05\/virilio.html\" target=\"new\">Virilio<\/a>, please explain this aesthetic of speed!<\/p>\n<p>PS: Ok, ok, so the guy in the uniform is cute.  <a href=\"http:\/\/www.notbored.org\/gang.html\" target=\"new\">The<\/a> <a href=\"http:\/\/www.bbc.co.uk\/dna\/collective\/A1046738\" target=\"new\">Gang<\/a> <a href=\"http:\/\/www.musica.co.uk\/musica\/screen__ARTISTDB\/shop__MUS\/artist__Gang~Of~Four.htm\" target=\"new\">of<\/a> <a href=\"http:\/\/www.shriekback.com\/p17_gang_of_four.htm\" target=\"new\">Four<\/a> knew what they were talking about when they sang, &#8220;I love a man in a uniform.&#8221;  Bang bang, shoot shoot.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>As I type, I&#8217;m getting a sense of what it must be like to be strafed by military aircraft.
