Recently, the city released its <a href=\"http:\/\/www.victoria.ca\/cityhall\/pdfs\/public-bodies-report-2009.pdf\">2009 Public Bodies Report<\/a> (PDF), which itemizes the city&#8217;s expenditures. No one else  comes even remotely close.<\/p>\n<p>Knowing the cost of buying a house around here, I have some guesses.
