Not like a <a href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Christo_and_Jeanne-Claude#Wrapped_Reichstag\">wrapped Reichstag<\/a> at all. Just goes to show that there&#8217;s art, and then there&#8217;s cock-up. The above is pure cock-up.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left\">The original Filene&#8217;s building was gorgeous &#8211; the facade (still standing) remains so:<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" style=\"border: 4px solid white\" title=\"Filene's facade\" src=\"http:\/\/lh3.ggpht.com\/_Rg-tSGYurlI\/TBmAmRfUVMI\/AAAAAAAABPM\/l932nieCvbU\/s640\/CIMG0772.JPG\" alt=\"\" width=\"448\" height=\"336\" \/><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\">.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left\">While the upper story facade looks ok, the street level is total crap: boarded up, with just a stairway access to the MBTA below ground. In all other senses, it&#8217;s a dead-zone.
