{"id":1171,"date":"2009-04-21T18:17:35","date_gmt":"2009-04-21T22:17:35","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/blogs.law.harvard.edu\/yulelog\/?p=1171"},"modified":"2009-04-21T15:17:49","modified_gmt":"2009-04-21T22:17:49","slug":"myers-briggs-says-ive-changed","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/archive.blogs.harvard.edu\/yulelog\/2009\/04\/21\/myers-briggs-says-ive-changed\/","title":{"rendered":"Myers-Briggs says I&#8217;ve changed"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Change is good, right? <\/p>\n<p>Prompted by <a href=\"http:\/\/www.gothamgal.com\/gotham_gal\/2009\/04\/personalities.html\">Gotham Gal&#8217;s post<\/a> about taking an online Myers-Briggs personality test, I decided to give the test another whirl. <\/p>\n<p>I had taken it several years ago and got an INFP result &#8211; that&#8217;s Introversion, iNtuition, Feeling, Perception. (I wasn&#8217;t especially pleased with that, incidentally. Not for any particular reason, but because it struck me as fuzzy.)<\/p>\n<p>Half a dozen years later, it seems I&#8217;ve decided that all that Feeling and Perceiving stuff is a luxury of youth (and money, of which I now have much much less than I did when I &#8220;was&#8221; an INFP). <\/p>\n<p>The current result says I&#8217;m an INTJ &#8211; that&#8217;s Introversion, iNtuition, Thinking, Judgment. Yep, still introverted and intuitive (mebbe), but now thinking and judging a bit harder. My age is showing, perhaps?<\/p>\n<p>The only thing I really like about this new assessment (as described <a href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/INTJ\">here<\/a>) is that &#8220;we&#8221; INTJ types are &#8211; drumroll, please &#8211; <a href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Mastermind_(Role_Variant)#Notable_Mastermind\">Masterminds<\/a>. <\/p>\n<p>Bwahahaha!<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Change is good, right?
