He led the company\u2019s participation in the <a href=\"https:\/\/obamawhitehouse.archives.gov\/node\/352601\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">White House\u2019s Cancer Moonshot<\/a> program, with a particular focus on more creating more accurate, less invasive, <a href=\"http:\/\/bloodpac.org\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">genomics-based cancer diagnostics<\/a>. As a <a href=\"http:\/\/www.hluce.org\/lsprogram.aspx\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Luce Scholar<\/a>, Andrew worked in South Korea for the world\u2019s largest citizen journalism organization, OhmyNews.<\/p>\n<p>Andrew has also worked for and with research universities and media companies, including the Northwestern University Media Management Center, the University of Southern California Norman Lear Center, the BBC, Hearst Television, CNET, and The Texas Tribune.<\/p>\n<p>He holds a PhD and MPhil in sociology from the <a href=\"http:\/\/cam.ac.uk\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">University of Cambridge<\/a>, where he was a <a href=\"http:\/\/gatescambridge.org\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Gates Cambridge<\/a> scholar, and a BSJ from The <a href=\"http:\/\/medill.northwestern.edu\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Medill School<\/a> at <a href=\"http:\/\/northwestern.edu\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Northwestern University<\/a>.
