This map compares the frequency and locations of large-scale destruction events that have occurred in all of the Marvel and DC movies of the past 50 years. An important criterion for this map was that only movies that received a wide release in theaters were included (no straight-to-video or made-for-TV movies were included). On a controversial note, while many Marvel and DC fans do not agree on the real-world equivalents for some fictional comic book-based cities, efforts were taken to estimate real-world locations (ex. New York City) for fictional cities (ex. Gotham) based on the broader consensuses of the diehard fan bases.<\/p>\n

Clint Barton, who was born in Waverly, Iowa and trained as a master marksman, is one of the few members of the Avengers that does not have any superhuman powers. Although Ultron\u2019s plan to destroy humanity was thwarted and the residents of Sokovia were rescued, the city of Sokovia itself was ultimately destroyed. Avengers member Pietro Maximoff (a.k.a.
