\"\"<\/a>On November 21, I was invited to the future \u2018Global Creative Leaders\u2019 @Univ. of Tokyo.<\/p>\n

I enjoyed talking about \u201cDigital Wisdom: Self-creation in the age of AI\u201d to brilliant Ph.D, students of the University of Tokyo.<\/p>\n

One of them asked me about the language in future. \u00a0Shall we all speak English and abandon our own language such as Japanese?<\/p>\n

I think it’s true that more and more young people learn and speak English in Japan. \u00a0But we also develop the multi language translation system with AI. \u00a0Therefore in future we might be able to communication with own native language directly to Chinese, Korean or other non-Japanese without speaking English.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a>This might make it possible for us to respect our own local culture and keep our beautiful languages. \u00a0Also we might be able to reinforce social intimacy with each other because of facilitating communication and mutual understanding.<\/p>\n

I doing so, we might work together for the global issues such as environmental problems with strong social bond.<\/p>\n

This is the special program with the interdisciplinary approach\u00a0in order to educate the future global leaders. \u00a0I believe this is very useful education for the future of Japan.<\/p>\n
