{"id":91,"date":"2005-07-15T11:15:35","date_gmt":"2005-07-15T15:15:35","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/blogs.law.harvard.edu\/sweetpea\/2005\/07\/15\/please-mop-up-this-mess\/"},"modified":"2008-05-04T09:56:10","modified_gmt":"2008-05-04T16:56:10","slug":"please-mop-up-this-mess","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/archive.blogs.harvard.edu\/sweetpea\/2005\/07\/15\/please-mop-up-this-mess\/","title":{"rendered":"Please Mop Up This Mess"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><a name=\"a236\" title=\"a236\"><\/a><\/p>\n<p>This is not\u00a0a tidy job.\u00a0 It frequently spills over into other aspects of my life.\u00a0 As much as I try to keep it contained, things just keep spilling over.<\/p>\n<p>I was thinking earlier this week that (1) I complain entirely too much about my job (which I actually oftentimes enjoy) and my life (what little I can squeeze in between my work), (2) I am going to be more efficient and\u00a0not kill\u00a0all of my weekends, and (3) I should post about things I&#8217;m thankful for (believe it or not, I&#8217;m generally a very happy,\u00a0almost irritatingly upbeat\u00a0person). . . but then I got a load of work\u00a0yesterday (all urgent), a request (albeit a very nice one) to work this weekend from a partner who does not realize I&#8217;ve been working virtually EVERY weekend, and\u00a0a gentle reminder to keep my hours up (despite the fact that I work all the time, I\u00a0think I&#8217;m particularly\u00a0inefficient because my hours are average at best).\u00a0 So yeah, no warm and fuzzy post today.\u00a0 Just more ranting.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>WOTWIFLI:\u00a0 <a href=\"http:\/\/www.miriamwebster.com\/cgi-bin\/dictionary?book=Dictionary&amp;va=myrmidon\">Myrmidon<\/a>.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>This is not\u00a0a tidy job.\u00a0 It frequently spills over into other aspects of my life.\u00a0 As much as I try to keep it contained, things just keep spilling over.
