There were a few hiccups and quirky moments (apparently  I was making funny faces up at the alter &#8211; I have a very expressive face) but overall I had a great time and am still overwhelmed at how lucky we are to have such a fantastic group of friends and a wonderful family (and extended family).  The beach party the following day was also lots of fun and gave us a chance to unwind and spend some quality time with everyone.<\/p>\n<p>Busy cleaning house right now and getting ready to leave for Hawaii, but I promise wedding recaps and pictures when I get back!\u00a0 In the meanwhile, here&#8217;s one of me being walked down the aisle by my dad, who got too choked up to actually give me away.\u00a0 He was rescued by my mom, who piped in &#8220;we do.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\"><a href=\"http:\/\/blogs.law.harvard.edu\/sweetpea\/files\/2008\/09\/21873073805_8d4dae852d.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-671\" src=\"http:\/\/blogs.law.harvard.edu\/sweetpea\/files\/2008\/09\/21873073805_8d4dae852d-225x300.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"225\" height=\"300\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The wedding was wonderful, although it flew by entirely too quickly.
