Found out yesterday that a good friend of mine from law school recently moved from NY to Virginia.\u00a0 Another good friend recently moved from DC to SF.\u00a0 It looks like the Frog<\/a> is going to the East coast this summer and Roomie is moving to Berkeley this fall.\u00a0 I however am staying put for awhile.\u00a0 After all, I really can’t change jobs again any time soon.\u00a0 Three different firms in my first two years of practice probably looks suspicious enough!\u00a0<\/p>\n

Funny, after I graduated from UCLA in 2000, LA was the last place I thought I’d find myself living.\u00a0 Yet, six\u00a0and a half years\u00a0later, here I am.\u00a0 And it looks like I may be here to stay, for awhile at least.\u00a0 I used to make fun of one of my best friends from high school for never quite managing to leave LA despite a professed desire to do so after graduating from UCLA.\u00a0 I never thought I’d\u00a0BE her!<\/p>\n

Anyways, things are good.\u00a0 Not much new to report.\u00a0 Having\u00a0some friends over for the Superbowl this Sunday.\u00a0 Not that I really watch football, but I do enjoy eating and socializing and this is as good an excuse as any.\u00a0 I haven’t decided\u00a0which team to\u00a0root for, but I’m leaning towards the Colts…\u00a0<\/p>\n

T and I are\u00a0celebrating our\u00a0one year anniversary\u00a0next weekend.\u00a0 We’re going to\u00a0see Wicked.\u00a0 With his brother.\u00a0 And his mom.\u00a0 Yes, after insisting we do something to celebrate the occasion\u00a0(I don’t\u00a0really do celebrations, so this was totally T’s call), T promptly forgets the actual date of the anniversary (despite my\u00a0lack of desire to celebrate said event, I am still a girl and therefore knew the exact date) and invites his mom and brother\u00a0to\u00a0see Wicked that night when he was offered some tickets.\u00a0 Boys.\u00a0 I guess I should just be thankful I was invited as well!\u00a0 =)<\/p>\n

Oh – one last complaint – I woke up this morning feeling fatter than I’ve felt in ages!\u00a0 Maybe it’s because I’ve missed the last two long runs (an 18 miler and 12 miler) due to illness and being out of town.\u00a0 Maybe it’s the entire box of See’s candy I consumed this past weekend.\u00a0\u00a0Maybe it’s the\u00a0fact that\u00a0the heater has caused all my clothes to shrink (a possibility suggested by a friend of mine).\u00a0 Whatever it is,\u00a0it has\u00a0to stop.\u00a0\u00a0As of today, I vow never to eat an entire one pound box of See’s candy in a weekend again!<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
