You can usually spot the tourists in\u00a0San Francisco\u00a0because they’re the only ones wearing shorts and a t-shirt, tricked into thinking summers in SF are actually warm.\u00a0 They’re not.\u00a0 Generally.\u00a0 This weekend was perfect however, courtesy of the heat wave and global warming.\u00a0 Unfortunately, I\u00a0only packed sweaters and jeans, hoping to blend in with the SF regulars.\u00a0 Despite melting in my clothes, it was a great weekend.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Stayed at the Hilton, in their newly renovated\u00a0tower.\u00a0 (Nice)\u00a0<\/p>\n

Spent quality time with friends and loved ones.\u00a0 (Yay!)<\/p>\n

Walked the City.\u00a0 (Hot)\u00a0<\/p>\n

Took a harbor\u00a0tour.\u00a0 (Fun)\u00a0<\/p>\n

Danced at the Holy Cow.\u00a0(Drunk)<\/p>\n

Ate dim sum.\u00a0\u00a0(Yum)\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n

Saw a movie in the Metreon\u00a0to escape from the heat.*\u00a0 (Eh)\u00a0<\/p>\n

Had dinner at Cityscape at the top of the Hilton.\u00a0 (Breathtaking)\u00a0<\/p>\n

* Saw Pirates of the Caribbean.\u00a0 Didn’t much care for it.\u00a0 Thought it was grossly offensive in its portrayal of the natives and others.\u00a0 Realize I’m probably being somewhat of a killjoy.\u00a0 I’m usually very good at ignoring offensiveness in movies, but this was too much even for me!<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
