A blackness pure, so dazzling<\/h6>\n
Its shadow is the morning light<\/h6>\n
The sun squints at his face, blinking<\/h6>\n
Straining so hard to catch his sight<\/h6>\n
His dark face so intense and bright<\/h6>\n
He had to shroud himself in white<\/h6>\n
Like clouds veiling the Heaven\u2019s gleams<\/h6>\n
That makes them both hidden and seen<\/h6>\n
Like scents upon the morning breeze<\/h6>\n
The echo of a midnight dream<\/h6>\n
The dazzling dark flows through his veins<\/h6>\n
Like ink pregnant with poetry<\/h6>\n
And fills his eyes and skin with verses<\/h6>\n
Teeming with love\u2019s mysteries<\/h6>\n
How do you see us from your seat<\/h6>\n
Beneath the shade of Heaven\u2019s Tree?<\/h6>\n
The baobabs must look like lightning<\/h6>\n
Flashing from the earth and falling<\/h6>\n
Skies must seem a fickle frailty<\/h6>\n
Whirling \u2018round your finger\u2019s ring<\/h6>\n
The shadow of the shade of God<\/h6>\n
Leaping from your pure heartstrings<\/h6>\n
Floods the dry and dusty lands<\/h6>\n
Sweeping the old bones along<\/h6>\n
Dancing in the secret rapture<\/h6>\n
Of the silence of your song<\/h6>\n
